Firewood is provided as part of the cost of the pitch, we have no hidden “extras”. In very dry conditions we reserve the right to prohibit camp fires in the interest of safety. We also provide some pots and pans for use directly on the fire, however there is not enough for everyone so please bring your own if you think you'll be cooking alot on a open fire whilst you are here. BUSHCRAFT DAYS Bushcraft is about creating powerful and empowered relationships with our natural world. Through learning the traditional skills that people have used since the beginning of time, we not only connect ourselves with our own history but we can develop a deeper, more respectful and exciting relationship with the Earth.

We love being outside camping in fields with campfires, camping in teepees and yurts, fitting our camping in to nature rather than the other way around. But we don't have the expertise to teach....
And so we are bringing in the experts: Stoatwood Bushcraft is based locally to us but runs courses throughout the UK. We are lucky to get Matt and his colleagues for the day on 2 dates only the 7th July and 28th July 2008 Our basic bushcraft in pembrokeshire skills day - is an opportunity to cover the fundamental skills such as: Fire and Fire by Friction, Shelter Building, Natural Cordage, Fish Trap Making, Knife skills and safety and Camp Craft. (there may be slight variations due to materials or weather)
Please join us for a cooked lunch of fresh fish with lobster and crab cooked on the campfire. Please see the booking form for details and to book.
Please note under 16 must be accommpanied by an adult due to using knives, fire etc.
