Yurt bits & pieces
Yurt bits & pieces

Bits that come with the yurt

We have prepared this list to help you with your packing and have included a list of the items and facilities we provide.

Your yurt will be ready for you after 3.00 pm on the first day of your holiday and we ask that you vacate it by 10.30 on your last day to give us the opportunity to clean and change over for the next guests.  If you arrive later than 9.00 pm then please let us know so we can minimise disruption to your fellow campers and assist if required.    If you are arriving during colder weather we will get the stove going for you too so you really do have a warm welcome !

You can park your car approx. 40’ away from the yurt and there is a slight slope up to the front door.

Equipment provided

Rechargeable lantern

3 saucepans

1 non stick frying pan

6 plates, 6 bowls, 6 small plates, 6 knives, fork, spoons and tea spoons 6 mugs, 4 (Plastic) wine glasses ( they look and drink well, we prefer these to glass in that we don’t have the risk of broken glass in the grass.  Lots of children and adults like to walk around in bare feet, so the chance of broken glass needs to be reduced)

We are proud of our 2 showers / toilets they are more like home than a campsite.  They are approx 100 metre walk form the Yurt.   We provide eco hand soap and towel in the toilets.  Toilet paper is also provided and whilst its not extra luxury double quilted, its not that horrible tracing paper stuff either, but it is a good quality eco-friendly 100% recycled paper !

Some items essential/suggested for you to bring on your holiday

Personal towels

Tea towels

Obviously any food, however there is a good delicatessen with in 10 miles and the usual supermarkets in Fishguard and Haverfordwest

Axe (you must take responsibility for safe use / Storage of )

Specialist cooking bits, wok, etc.

We provide fire wood but charcoal can be useful or maybe preferred, if you intend to cook a lot on the grill.

Tin foil, cling film

Egg cups

Measuring spoons (if required)

Torches

Rubbish bags

Insect repellent (sometimes we get little midgey type flies, usually after a bit of rain, the smoke from the fire tends to get rid of them but if you are prone to bites, then some repellent or citronella candles can do the trick)

Please note: We ask that there is no smoking in the yurt on grounds of safety and the furnishings. We would be grateful if you respected this.

If you think of anything else then let us know so we can let future guests benefit.

Many thanks

Kevin and Claire
