Campsites in Pembrokeshire, Trellyn, AbercastleThis page is dedicated to our pitches 1&2 amongst the trees in our campsites in Pembrokeshire. Our pitches in the trees are well sheltered from the wind and rain so whilst other campsites in Pembrokeshire are having tents turned into casulties you'll be safe and protected. The surfaces are all weather, which means they are made of a graded gravel which can be sharp and may damage a ground sheet. To counter this we now (new for 2010) supply free of charge a thick sub ground sheet of lorry grade sheeting to put under your tent. The advantages are that no matter what happens to the weather your pitch will not get water logged and muddy. For 2010 we are creating better covered areas which will allow you to have your campfire out of the rain, so a campfire evening is guarenteed every night of your stay. That has to be a UK first ! You'll need steel pegs and you will be the closest to the toilets and showers. These pitches have electric hook up if required and are great for tourers and campervans etc. Not so great for very young children who like to put things in their mouth. Mr R from West Yorkshire spent 2 weeks on pitch 1 in 2009 and says: "We've arrived home safely, have unpacked most stuff and got a couple of loads of washing on. I just wanted to say thanks very much for an incredibly relaxing couple of weeks, it was simply brilliant. "
Mr and Mrs B. from Marlborough: "No other campsites in Pembrokeshire, no the rest of the UK will look after you better than the folk at Trellyn do".
