Q: Do you take pets?
A: Sorry, we don’t accommodate dogs, no matter how well behaved or lovely, sorry. (actually we do take guide dogs with a registered blind person providing a dog basket is used (for the dog :-))
Q: How far is Abercastle beach from the campsite and is it sandy?
A: The beach is less than 200m from the end of the property.
Abercastle is a small natural inlet/harbour which is sandy with rock pools at low tide but also has mixed rock and shingle. Fresh crabs and lobsters are landed here on Sunday.
Q: How far is the nearest pub/restaurant?
A: There are two pubs within two miles of the campsite, both of which serve food and are serviced by the Strumble Shuttle (a little coastal bus service) that stops at the entrance of the campsite! There are some very good restaurants you can read reviews on our information point on site.
Q: How far is the nearest shop/garage?
A: There are two shops and a post office / shop within 2.5 miles of the campsite.
Q: Do I have to be a member of the Greener Camping Club even I am staying in a structure (yurt holiday, holiday or dome holiday)
A: Yes. We are a Greener Camping Club members exclusive site.
